Requesting Participation in the NJASFAA Mentoring Program

Dear Directors:

My name is Wil Casaine. I am Director of Financial Aid at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) as well as the current chair of the NJASFAA mentoring committee.

I am reaching out to you because the mentoring committee needs your help!

We are looking for your assistance in identifying new aid administrators in your offices who have less than three years of experience in aid and who would be interested in participating in the mentoring program. Our goals are simple:

  • Match mentees with mentors from similar institutions to provide leadership and guidance
  • Encourage participation at NJASFAA conferences and training events
  • Provide knowledge and enrichment to new aid administrators

In addition, mentees that are part of this program would be eligible for a discount on their fall conference registration. Those that attend all the selected NJASFAA trainings/workshops that have been designated as part of the Leadership Track would be eligible to receive a certificate of achievement.
